Sand Snowman Competition

Join us for our annual Sand Snowman Competition. The rules are easy! Build a sand snowman in 4 hours with your team. Cost is £1 per person (up to 6 people) and all proceeds go towards the educational work of Beach Academy. Rest Bay, Sun 29 Dec, Rest Bay Porthcawl. Rules * Teams limited to 6 members. £1 per person entry. * Sand Snowman to be made of sand! * Sand Snowman can be decorated - any non natural decorations to be removed from the beach. * Teams to provide their own building tools. The use of shovels, hoes, spatulas and other tools (except power tools) are permitted. * Prizes to be won. * Buckets and spades can be bought on the beach on the day. * No limit on size. * Sand Snowman must be completed by the end time of 3pm. * Building cannot start until 11am. * Teams must collect a team flag number from beach academy on the beach before building.
